Miro is a breathing and relaxation companion provided by Kevin Gary. This policy explains the iPhone app and this website.

You choose when to share

Live AI conversations require an explicit permission before they begin. You can decline and use available guided moments or sleep audio. You can turn AI sharing off in Settings. The microphone is used only during a live session you start and stops when the session ends or the app goes into the background.

Live conversation and AI providers

Your microphone audio and conversation text are processed by Deepgram to recognize speech and coordinate the conversation. Conversation text and relevant saved notes, when memory is enabled, pass through Vercel to OpenAI to generate responses. Miro's reply text is processed by ElevenLabs to generate speech. These services receive the information needed to deliver their part of the experience and process it under their own privacy and retention terms.

Miro does not save audio recordings or full conversation transcripts in its account database. Conversation content is held temporarily while the live session is running. Provider processing and retention are separate from the notes you can see and delete in Miro. Please avoid sharing information you do not want these services to process.

Account and optional memory

Sign in with Apple provides an account identifier and, when you choose to share them, your name and email address or private relay address. Account identity and optional saved notes are stored using Supabase. Memory is optional. When enabled, Miro can save short notes about your preferences and things you share, such as upcoming events or what helps you settle. Those notes may include sensitive wellbeing information you choose to mention. You can review, correct, forget, or disable them in Settings. Notes are associated with your account so they work across devices.

Purchases and service usage

Apple handles payment. RevenueCat verifies your subscription using your Miro account identifier, App Store transaction information, and entitlement status. Miro does not receive your payment-card number. We keep session timing and error metadata to enforce included live minutes, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. These records do not contain recorded audio or full transcripts.

Retention and deletion

Saved notes remain until you forget them, delete your account, or they reach their expiry. Expired notes are excluded from new conversations. Individual voice-session receipts are retained for up to seven days. A one-way transaction-period identifier and total used seconds may be retained for up to 90 days after a subscription period expires to prevent allowance resets through deletion and restoration. It does not contain your conversation.

Delete your Miro account from Settings → Your Miro → Delete account. This removes the live account and saved notes and requests revocation of Miro's Apple sign-in authorization. Provider backups and legally required transaction records can follow their own retention schedules. Deleting Miro or your Miro account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it in Apple Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Website, security, and choices

The website's guided preview does not use your microphone or send a conversation to AI. Hosting services may process standard network and security logs, including IP addresses. Miro does not sell personal information, run advertising tracking, or track you across other companies' apps. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, with access controls for account data. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Miro is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive your information. Contact us for help. We will update this policy when our practices change and request permission again when a material change requires it.
